Mr. Cali Appraisals wants every executor, trustee, homeowner and professional to be able to read this site and request an appraisal, whatever device or assistive technology they use.
What the site aims for
The site is built toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA:
- Text and controls meet AA contrast against their backgrounds, including the gold call-to-action button.
- Every page has one main heading, a logical heading order, landmarks, and a skip link to the content.
- Every form field has a visible label; errors are announced and tied to the field they concern.
- The menu, the question lists and the forms work with a keyboard alone, and focus is always visible.
- The sample report grid is a real table with column and row headers, so its structure is read aloud correctly.
- Motion is limited, and animations stop when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Pages work at 200 percent zoom and on narrow phone screens without sideways scrolling.
Known limits
Articles published through the knowledge center may include images added later. Each one should carry a text alternative, and any that does not is a defect to report.
